SMART Volume Spread Analysis Software Rules Your Mule

For those Keeping score.  I ended up with 4800+ pips last week which surpassed my goal of 1000 per day average by 800 as I traded Monday thru Thursday.
This week I was going to focus on trading one pair and time frame only, to show how easily SMART/VSA traders can do with that although I already muffed that plan taking a long GBP (mentioned below) first thing this morning.
The first trade entered this week was a long off a smart shakeout alert on GBP (SMART Volume Spread Analysis Gray bar: see example) which I mentioned in the chat and took for 101 pips in a little over 30 minutes.

A Quick Update on SMART Volume Spread Analysis Software and The Free Live Chat Happenings

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday. Sorry for the lack of updates
recently but I have been busy writing up docs and working on some
theories for future updates to SMART Volume Spread Analysis Software.

I will be posting up some in depth articles in the coming weeks on
EOM, Scaling using VSA, One Bar tests (using EOM), and some
interesting setups too. Keep an eye out for them or just click the
subscribe link above to get new posts as they are released in your
email.

As some of you in the chat know I am attempting a goal of 1000 pips
per day using VSA with SMART. Three days in and I am at 3552 pips.
These trades are DNF (Do not Follows Called in Chat) and I am using a
very agressive style of trading for this week but my normal VSA
trades are still averaging 1500 pips per week and a few weeks ago we
pulled in 3000 using very conservative VSA trades as well. VSA is not
rocket science and with a little effort and software like SMART anyone
can achieve these results. For example: We had some nice pm’s this
week too. One user reported doubling their account in one week since
starting with SMART and another pulled off 300 pips in one night.
This is inline with what most clients report and we are ecstatic with
the results people are getting with SMART and VSA.

Next weeks goal will likely be to trade one pair only and see how much
we can pull in using SMART Volume Spread Analysis and one Time Frame
only.

Trades Called Today Using SMART Volume Spread Analysis Software (600+ pips) Plus ES Mini Example

Trades Called Today in the Skype Group and a private trade on ES Mini (testing):

 

[8:05:48 AM] Me: Short CAD off weakness on sow (1) and general toppiness (Chart below)
[8:07:57 AM] Me: Short NZD general toppiness and no demand signal a few bars back (Chart below)
[8:14:17 AM] Me: Long GBP on hidden buying (1) after fairly nice down move on no demand (2). (Chart below)

 

The above were closed within 30 minutes at about 600+ pips combined. (Email for screenshot of exact trade open and closing prices)

 

Also took a Short ES Mini off of Hidden Selling indication in SMART (Hourly)

Closed at 8:32: 1215.00

Canadian Dollar Rally As Seen Through The Eye’s of SMART VSA (Volume Spread Analysis) Software

Hello all I hope you enjoyed your holiday (for those in the United States) and weekend.
I lost my mini (Dell Netbook) so I haven’t been in the chat as much. I am on my main machine and my travel laptop but will remain scarce for a day or so more while I set up the new mini.

What you missed tonight (1.5 hours) and this week not coming into the VSA chat. Hint 1000+ pips

Just a quick post to let you know what you missed not coming into the free VSA chat today.

Time is EST AM and first call was made at around 3:00 AM EST so 1 1/2 hours total before I decided to head off.

Update on the SMART VSA Long Term (Weekly) Long USD Demo Test (One Day) Mentioned Here Closed for +660 pips

 

The trade hit the weekely EOM (Shakeout) of 650+ in one day and I closed it for 660ish (screenshot below) I might have stayed in if I had used the EOM for both the shakeout and the reverse ut since both are strong Long VSA signals but 650 pips on a single trade, in one week let alone one day, is more than enough. 

The EOM Documentation and possibly module as well is coming in a future update to SMART and as always updates are free.

Here's an update on  the SMART VSA Long Term (Weekly) Long USD Demo Test (One Day) Mentioned here

We had some news yesterday which knocked USD a bit yesterday but VSA often prepositions for news an we still managed 250 pips so far on our long term trade.  I will continue to monitor the trades to see if anything changes but for now still holding for the week.

SMART VSA Long Term (Weekly) Long USD Demo Test

The following setup is a bit late (the reverse upthrust is one of my favorite VSA signals) but we do have some excellent examples of  standard volume spread analysis signals (the Reverse Upthrust and a the Shakeout).  If you are using SMART they appear as a SMART Blue Bar and a SMART Gray Bar (Illustrated in the example chart below). 

The EOM (Expectation of Movement) on this trade should be quite high but I will monitor the trade throughout the week on shorter time frames and exit if things change or the target EOM is hit. If it is not exited prior to the next candle start I will reevaluate on the current time-frame (weekly)

 

Here is the chart.  I will update as the week progresses.

 

Note: This is a test on demo as this is a weekly chart (I normally trade the hourly) so do not follow this trade.  I did not mention this in the chat either for that reason.
